The Solution

Index World built a centralized Odoo ERP that every sales channel reports into.

Whether an order starts on BigCommerce, Amazon, Shopify or another marketplace, it now follows the same path inside Odoo: quotation, sales order, delivery, invoice, payment validation, reporting.

Because sales, fulfillment and finance read the same records, the manual reconciliation step that used to sit between channels has largely gone.

Direct BigCommerce–Odoo Integration

A custom integration was developed to synchronize BigCommerce directly with Odoo, creating a fully automated sales workflow from order placement through fulfillment and payment confirmation. Every transaction follows a standardized process, improving accuracy while reducing manual intervention.

Smarter Amazon Tax Management

Marketplace tax discrepancies were resolved using customized Odoo tax grids and Python-based tax logic. The result is consistent, reliable tax calculations that reduce manual adjustments, improve financial accuracy, and simplify compliance.

Centralized Business Communication

Email communication was brought directly into Odoo using professionally configured incoming and outgoing mail servers, supported by SMTP2GO. Sales, customer service, and operational teams can now manage communications from one platform without switching between multiple applications.

Odoo 19 Migration

To prepare for future growth, Index World completed a full migration from Odoo 16 to Odoo 19. The project covered custom module migration, database migration, integration upgrades, performance optimization, and compatibility improvements across Amazon, Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, and ShipStation.

The upgrade also cleared the version constraints that had been limiting what the integrations could do.
