Odoo Upgrade Services in the USA
Move to the latest Odoo version safely. As an Odoo Partner, we handle the database, your custom modules and third-party app compatibility, so you gain the new features and security without losing data.
On Odoo 14 through 18? We plan, rehearse and run the upgrade end to end, with full UAT and a minimal-downtime cutover.

How long does your Odoo version have left?
Odoo supports the three most recent major versions. Fall further behind and the costs stack up.
Odoo applies a 25% surcharge to Enterprise subscriptions more than three versions old (contracts new or renewed after July 4, 2025). Source: Odoo S.A. support policy, checked August 2026.
Everything that moves to your new Odoo version
An upgrade moves everything: your data, custom modules, saved reports and every integration, and any one of them can break quietly. So we rehearse the whole upgrade on a clone first, and custom code gets reviewed rather than assumed.
Every layer of your Odoo moves, so nothing is left behind.
- Custom modules
- Studio changes
- Saved reports
- Integrations
- Access rights
- Your database
Our 7-step Odoo upgrade process
Seven steps, one rehearsal on a copy of your database, and a cutover you can reverse.
01Audit current version
We review your current Odoo, its modules, customizations and data to understand exactly what needs to move.
- Version, edition and hosting
- Every custom module and app
- What is safe to leave behind
02Compatibility analysis
We run a fit-gap analysis and check every custom module and third-party app against the target Odoo version.
- What breaks on the new version
- What standard Odoo now does for free
- What is unmaintained and needs replacing
03Migration plan & backup
We build a clear upgrade plan, take a full backup, and set up a staging database for safe, isolated work.
- Full backup before anything moves
- Staging clone of your live database
- Cutover window agreed up front
04Migrate & refactor code
We migrate the database and modules, then refactor custom code so your customizations run cleanly on the new version.
- Database migrated, records reconciled
- Custom code refactored, not patched
- Retired where standard Odoo now fits
05Testing & UAT
We test every module, report, and workflow on staging and run user acceptance testing until you sign off.
- Every report checked against real records
- Integrations re-tested end to end
- Your team signs off, not us
06Cutover
We schedule a low-traffic window, move you to production with minimal downtime, and keep a rollback plan ready.
- Low-traffic window, agreed with you
- A rehearsed repeat, not a first attempt
- Rollback plan ready throughout
07Support & maintenance
We provide hypercare after go-live, fine-tune performance, and support your team on the new Odoo version.
- Hypercare through the first weeks
- Performance tuned on the new release
- Handover to ongoing support

Four versions in one jump, and nothing stopped selling
Armor Concepts sells the same lock on BigCommerce, Amazon and Shopify. We took them from Odoo 16 to 19 while all three channels kept syncing, so the stock figure the storefronts read never went stale mid-upgrade.
Their multi-channel setup was rehearsed on a clone before cutover, which is why a four-version jump read as an ordinary release to everyone outside the project.

An Odoo Partner accountable for a safe upgrade
Partner accountability
Delivered by an official Odoo Partner on a written plan with named milestones. If a step slips, you know who answers for it.
Rehearsed on a copy first
Before we touch production the whole upgrade has already run on a staging copy, with reports and integrations checked against real records.
Waiting now has a price
Odoo adds 25% to Enterprise subscriptions more than three versions behind. A fixed-fee upgrade is paid once; the surcharge repeats with every bill.
Covered by support plans
On an Index World support plan, upgrade management is already in the monthly fee. It becomes a date on the calendar, not a project to budget.

Why should I upgrade my Odoo version?
Newer Odoo releases bring stronger security, better performance, and new functionality, while older versions eventually lose official support. Upgrading keeps your ERP supported, secure, and ready for new modules and integrations.
Will I lose data or customizations during the upgrade?
No. We migrate your database, custom modules, Studio changes, and configurations to the new version and reconcile every record, so you move up safely with zero data loss and your customizations intact.
Can you upgrade from Odoo 14 through 18 to the latest version?
Yes. We upgrade from older releases such as Odoo 14, 15, and 16 to the current version, handling the intermediate version jumps, code refactoring, and data transformation required along the way.
How much downtime does an Odoo upgrade require?
We keep downtime to a minimum by testing the full upgrade on a staging copy first and scheduling the final cutover for a low-traffic window, so your team is back to work quickly.
What happens to our third-party apps and custom code?
We review every third-party app and custom module for compatibility with the target version, refactor the code that needs it, and replace or rebuild anything that is no longer maintained.
How do you make sure nothing breaks after go-live?
Before cutover we run full functional testing and user acceptance testing on the upgraded staging database, and we keep a rollback plan ready, then provide hypercare support after go-live.
What does staying on an old version actually cost?
For Enterprise users more than three versions behind, Odoo adds a 25% surcharge to the subscription, on top of missing security patches and features. Over a year, that usually costs more than the upgrade itself.
