A native module that runs inside your own Odoo, version 17, 18, or 19, on Odoo Online, Odoo.sh, or your own servers. No separate server, no third party relaying your data. Setup is a three-step wizard: choose what the AI can see, generate a revocable connection URL, paste it into your assistant.

Security: the AI is a user, not a superuser
Every connection authenticates with Odoo’s own revocable API keys and runs with that user’s access rights; Odoo’s record rules always apply on top. Nothing is accessible until you enable it, model by model, operation by operation. Leave delete switched off and no AI can ever remove a record.
Read, create, update, and delete are separate permissions on every exposed model.
Whitelist or blacklist fields per model. Sensitive columns never leave Odoo.
Attach an Odoo domain so assistants only ever see the matching records. Filters can only narrow access.
IP allowlists, per-user rate limits, key expiry, and one-click key rotation.
Who did what, from which IP, on which model. Denied attempts are refused and recorded.
The app runs inside Odoo itself. Your data is not routed through anyone else’s server.
Your data does its job and nothing else: it is not used to train outside models, and data handling is agreed in writing before anything is connected. The same posture we hold for our Odoo AI agents.

How do I connect ChatGPT or Claude to Odoo?
Through MCP, the open protocol both tools speak. We connect your Odoo either through our hosted bridge or by installing our app in your instance, grant a named Odoo user for the AI to act as, and your team starts asking questions. Most setups are done inside a day.
Is it safe to give AI access to our ERP?
The AI never gets more access than the Odoo user it is connected as. You decide which user that is, what they can see, and whether they can write at all. Start read-only if you prefer, and widen access once trust is earned.
Can the AI change data, or only read it?
Both, and you choose. Reading is where most teams start. Creating and updating records works when the connected user has those rights, which makes things like logging leads or updating stages possible straight from the chat.
What is the difference between the bridge and the app?

Does it work with our customized Odoo?
Yes. The connector works against your models, including custom ones, because it speaks to Odoo the same way Odoo speaks to itself. We have customized Odoo for clients since 2018, so odd setups do not scare us.
